SLS system is FDA approved and is safe, compliant, and is a fast medication labeler. Its practicality helps in the operating room or anywhere syringes are prepared. Its features help reduce common drug errors made in the OR room, improves workflow and provides clinicians with a series of electronic medication safety checks, it includes a 2D barcode on labels, prints labels for IV lines, invasive monitor lines, and other OR needs on demand. In addition, it includes an integrated administration tool and when its networked, the SLS can receive formulary and configuration packages sent from the Administration Tool, as well as, provide status feedback to specified users via the Administration Tool and email. SLS complies with the APSF recommendation, barcode reading, and it includes visual and audible confirmations for each drug to help remove human error. SLS has safety features when integrated with an AIMS it identifies each syringe to be administered, warnings for expired syringes when scanned, and warnings for patient allergies or adverse drug interactions.
